Continuing the series of the top 20 least expensive streets in Street and Glastonbury with number 6..
6 – Moonraker Square (Street)
Average price paid – £119,384. Moonraker Square is the newest street on this list. Moonraker Square is part of the Barratt Homes section of the Houndwood development and consists of 30 x 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, 12 of which are affordable housing. The most expensive transaction in Moonraker Square to date was £135,000 paid for 15 on 18/03/2016. The most recent transaction was £125,000 paid for 7 on 27/10/2017. The lowest price transaction was £105,000 paid for 11 on 18/02/2015.
5 – Lime Tree Square (Street)
Average price paid – £118,397. Lime Tree Square consists of 60 apartments in 2 blocks on the Houndwood development. The first property sale recorded on Houndwood was 25 Lime Tree Square which sold on 12/12/2008 for £157,950. This is also the most expensive price paid for a Lime Tree Square property to date. The least expensive house purchase in Lime Tree Square is 42, which sold on 10/03/2015 for £91,500. The most recently recorded transaction in Lime Tree Square was 56, which sold on 22/09/2017 for £137,500 and £3,500 more than the previous sale of this property 23 months earlier.
4 – Sedgemoor Way (Glastonbury)
Average price paid – £116,459. Linking Northload Street to the Beckery roundabout is Sedgemoor Way which is home to 24 dwellings – all apartments and all in one development, The Tanneries. To date there have been 45 recorded transactions for the 24 properties in The Tanneries. The earliest transaction was on 11th April 2007 when 20 was sold for £167,500 and remains the highest price paid for a property at The Tanneries. Sedgemoor Way is a relatively new addition to the Glastonbury road system and the area around The Tanneries was once the site of a gas works with 3 large holding tanks located on what is now Sedgemoor Way.
